Desmond, a rakish snob, has been fed from the lap of luxury his entire young life. Lavished in riches, education, opportunity and of course women, he has never wanted to do more with his life. But, life is about to hand him lemons. Turning down the illustrious business school that his father insists he goes to is the last straw, and Desmond is tossed out onto the street with only the clothes on his back.
Lying on a park bench one fateful afternoon, Desmond overhears an argument between a park patron and a hobo— And sees the holy grail! An electric guitar, with minimal damage, and 4 out of 6 strings! Seeing his chance for freedom, Desmond grabs the guitar while the hobo is distracted, and hides out in an abandoned train tunnel. Torn between pawning the instrument for food and fixing it to do some busking, he contemplates his options. Then, in a spark of inspiration, Desmond plucks 2 hairs from his lustrous mane, and tunes the new strands, activating the savage powers of the Heavy Carrot.
